New York Fashion week is over, and we write this with sore hands and tired bodies! The Style the Runway backstage crew beautified over 750 models for 44 designers! Our stylists rocked the runway, and none of it could have been possible without our amazing styling products!
We designed many styles to suit each collection, including different styles of beach waves and bouncy curls, we sleeked hair back, designed soft whimsical hairstyles with braids, we had fun creating rock chick hairstyles, as well as the classics straight hair, faux short hair, and even used wigs and hair pieces!
Style the Runway was born from a need for performance driven products that were versatile and worked for professional hairstylists who are coiffing the hair of celebrities and models for magazine covers, red carpets and international runways.
Backstage looks for the Spring Summer 2018 collections were styled by our team of talented hair designers, some Style the Runway products came out as heroes including Photo Ready, Beauty Queen and Liquify!
Here is some of the Runway looks! Look out for how to's and designer features over the next few weeks!
21 Reasons Why by Madeline Stuart (first model with Downs Syndrome and such a sweetheart!!) one of our fave models and STR friends for sure! @madelinesmodelling_
Two Gypsea Souls: featuring Farrah from MTV's Teen Mom on the Runway @farrah_abraham @sophialabraham @twogypseasouls
Burning Guitars: their clothes have been worn by Hakeem on our fave show Empire! Seen here on Victoria Henley from JTV and Americas Next Top Model @victoriahenley @burningguitars
Resty Legare: A model walks with a Couture Hair look created using hair extensions and metal rings. Resty's designers are loved by fave celebs such as Mel B, Katy Perry, Nikki Minaj and Akon
Mac Duggal: This amazing designer knows how to make a woman look and feel gorgeous on a night out or special occasion with his evening wear collections! Loved by famous gals like Demi Lovato, Khloe Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Lisa Vanderpump and our most recent Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay! The whimsical hairstyle has movement that compliments the beading and movement of the clothes on the runway.
Royal Legacy: This sleek ponytail was given an extra special touch by creating mini crimp lines throughout the style. To finish the look, wrap a section of the hair around the ponytail to ensure no one sees the hair elastic and it creates a pro finish!!
